ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
By maintaining good oral health with our general dentistry, you can avoid the need to ever run into a root canal. This therapy is needed to clear away diseased or rotted tooth pulp as a way to salvage the tooth. Under general anesthesia or a numbing agent (like notorious oxide/laughing gas), a drill is used to hollow out the inside of the tooth to extract the infected tooth pulp. Once the inside is cleaned, a filling or crown is put in place and an outer coating is added to protect the tooth.
Dr. Rob understands that many patients are apprehensive when it comes to this procedure, but we do all that we can to protect your teeth before this treatment is necessary. If you do need a root canal, we promise that it will a much simpler appointment than you expect.

DENTAL FILLINGS
This procedure is one of the easiest ways to repair and protect teeth that have been damaged or decayed by cavities. Once the affected tooth area has been cleaned away, we use different restorative solutions, including metal, alloy, plastic, or porcelain, to fill in the vacant area. We use numbing agents, so you won’t feel any pain, and your tooth will feel much better afterwards.
CUSTOM MOUTH GUARDS
Every mouth is different, and sometimes store-bought mouth guards just aren’t comfortable enough to wear. If you play sports and require a mouth guard to protect your teeth, mouth, or lips, a custom-fitting may be right for you. These are also used as treatment for teeth grinding and TMJ.
